Industrial stools are a timeless addition to a kitchen, no matter your style. We love these three styles not just for their sturdy, practical designs—we also love the stories behind them.

The Aurora Stool is a true American original. An industrial staple made by the same Illinois manufacturer that’s been making them since the 1930s, we’ve added colors that make them stand out and really last. With or without a backrest, and in sizes to fit tables, counters, and bars.

Inspired by vintage work stools and made in North Carolina, our Industrial Screw-Top Stool has been a customer favorite for years. We love the adjustable height of its welded base and the sustainably harvested oak tops finished in an array of stains.

Originating from Montreuil, France, in the 1930s, the Nicolle Stool stands today as a true industrial icon. Designed for factory workers and used throughout Europe for decades, the Nicolle’s sturdy profile boasts an optional backrest reminiscent of a whale’s tail and features a seat stamped in the shape of a large washer—paying tribute to the line workers who manufactured the small metal disks. An optional leather seat adds a bit of warm texture.
