The perfect solution for vaulted ceilings, our Brendle Chandelier adds a refined, contemporary touch to any large living space.

A nod to French styles from the 1950s, our Brendle Lighting Collection features solid brass construction and soft, curved pivoting shades. Designed by our in-house lighting designer, Shannon Donnelly, Brendle is an updated take on this classic, industrial silhouette with a design that is guided by both quality and function.

Light bulbs peek out from the asymmetrical spun brass shades and their glow is reflected by the metal interior.

The Brendle Collection’s gentle curves work in harmony with its industrial-inspired structure, “We approached this a little softer,” says Shannon, “making it a little more contemporary and approachable.” Using delicate lines that reference Mid-Century forms, Shannon and her team added a sense of elegance to the visually stunning fixture. “By designing in brass we are able to elevate the construction," she explains.

Brendle is assembled-to-order and finished by hand at our Portland factory, with unique hooded shades that are crafted from stamped brass and sit on adjustable brass arm fixtures. Our design team also added functionality to the style—as each individual shade pivots, allowing you to adjust and focus light exactly where you need it.

The Brendle Lighting Collection is available in two finishes and several styles, including a chandelier, pendant, table lamp, wall sconce, and floor lamp.

The Brendle Table Lamp’s pivoting shade is perfect for task lighting a work desk.

While the highlight of this design is its adjustable arms and pivoting shades, the most exciting feature is that you can customize your Brendle Chandelier by ordering the length of the drop to fit the exact measurements of your space, a feature that is perfect for high, vaulted ceilings. For rooms with lower ceilings, our Brendle Semi-Flush Chandelier gives off ample overhead lighting with a slimmer profile and the same look. No matter which style or finish you choose, the Brendle is sure to add modern sophistication to your home.

“This shade requires 12 separate stamping steps from different shaped tools to create the final shape,” says Senior Product Engineer Loren Hanson. “The result is a smooth clean look with no seams or welding marks.”

Brendle shades are dipped in cleaning solution to ensure a smooth surface for the finish process.

The last step in creating the Brendle is spraying the finish color onto the exterior of the shade. After this, the shade will sit in a curing oven to set the finish, before it is assembled into the completed lighting fixture.

Refined lines and soft curves perfectly balance Brendle's Mid-Century inspiration with modern sensibilities to create lighting that enhances any space.
