A simple update that can transform the look of any room, cabinet hardware adds both beauty and function that can last for years to come. In addition to choosing a style that suits the aesthetics of your home, here are three things to keep in mind as you search for perfect, durable hardware solutions.

1.  Solid Brass Makes a Difference

Start with quality materials—cabinet hardware is a high-touch surface, and probably one of the most frequently used items in your home. Think of how many times you (and your family) open a drawer or pull a knob on a daily basis.

Our cabinet hardware is made of 100% solid brass, that means the finish will not chip or wear off—quality you can touch. It comes in a range of finish options, from sleek Polished Chrome to our Unlacquered Brass, which will develop a beautiful patina over time. By investing in solid brass hardware, you can feel confident it will stand up to the daily wear and tear, lasting for years to come.

2. Choose the Right Pieces

After materials, the next thing to consider is the pieces you’ll need to suit the function and aesthetic of your space. From knobs to pulls, we offer a broad selection of cabinet hardware designs to choose from. Here are some reasons why you might opt for certain types for cabinet doors, drawers, and appliances—plus, some install tips to get you started.

Cabinet Doors:

Drawer Pulls: Pulls are ideal for a more updated, contemporary feel—long, simple lines pair beautifully with modern cabinetry. Pulls are also a great option if you are looking for an easier grip with added stability.

Cabinet Knobs: Easy to install and often used for ornate or vintage cabinetry, knobs are a classic choice. They also come in a variety of shapes, so choose ones that are the most comfortable for your hands. Round knobs are the easiest to grab, while square knobs offer a sleek look.

Cabinet Drawers:

Single Knobs or Pulls: Add a single knob or pull for a more streamlined look, especially if your drawers are under 24 inches wide. To install, place them centered in the middle of the drawer front.

Double Knobs or Pulls: If you have a large drawer that contains heavy items like pots and pans, or drawers that are 24 inches or wider, we recommend doubling up on knobs or pulls. To install, first divide the drawer into thirds and place the hardware in the middle of the left and right portions of the drawer.

Bin Pulls: Use a single bin pull for your cabinets to give your space a vintage look and feel. Place at the top of a drawer for easy maneuvering.

Finger pulls: If you have a row of small drawers or cabinets, consider a finger pull for a more petite option that doesn't take up too much space on your cabinet front.

Appliances:

For appliances or specialty cabinetry, consider an extra-long handle pull. Since appliances like refrigerators or ovens have heavier doors, a larger scale pull makes it easier to open. Adding an appliance pull will also bring cohesion to your space and complement the rest of your kitchen hardware—oversized pulls also make a bold visual statement.

3. Elevate with a Backplate

If you’re swapping out old hardware with different dimensions, our backplates offer an easy solution to cover up any holes or sign of wear on your current cabinetry. Additionally, backplates can add dimension and texture to your hardware of choice. Our solid brass backplates match our knobs and pulls for a streamlined look.
