Near or far, it’s always exciting for us to learn where our lighting goes and how it’s being used. But we get especially giddy when we learn our lights are being showcased internationally.
Larry Quick, owner and designer of Illinois-based Artifax Seating and Design, has built out and decorated Hollywood-themed restaurants in 11 countries. Rejuvenation lighting features prominently in several of these locations, including Finland and Russia. Drawing much of his inspiration from the Golden Age of Hollywood, the self-taught designer with a penchant for muscle cars, old movies, and classic diners has primarily used lighting from our Mid-Century Modern and Art Deco collection to achieve a fun, vintage-glam look.
“The lights are just fantastic,” says Larry. “I want people to walk in and go ‘wow.’”
Larry has installed dozens of Galaxy chandeliers, along with Galaxy and Skyport pendants and wall sconces at Daddy’s Diner in Tampere, Finland. His Long Island Diner and Beverly Hills Diner in Moscow, Russia, feature Cove flush ceiling fixtures and plenty of Galaxy pendants throughout both restaurants, among other lighting from our collections. Artifax is currently working on another restaurant in Russia, set to open next spring, that’s once again going to be filled with Rejuvenation fixtures.
“Rejuvenation has been fantastic in supporting me,” he says.
